Enriching Minds – Building Confidence – Inspiring Creativity
This month I had an amazing opportunity to meet with our smart new neighbours in Forest Hill – Jenna and Reesa of SmartiePants. They offer a range of activity-based programs for children ranging from 8 months to four years old. They are a mother/daughter duo of accredited teachers that have years of experience working in Toronto’s private school system.
The Smartie Duo believes that children need the opportunity to explore and be creative in order to develop a strong sense of self. Having visited their new location at 1136 Eglinton Avenue West, I can assure you that your kids will get top notch care and attention while having fun at every session!
The fact that every program was fully booked before opening their doors to the public, says alot about the SmartiePants Dynamic Duo.
They are currently running four fun programs:
Baby – Age 8-14 months (with parent/caregiver)
Stimulating activities for you and your baby, including stories, movement, songs, sensory, and tummy time.
Exploration – Age 18 months – 2.5 years (with parent/caregiver)
You and your child will have the oportunity to explore various play centres, engage in arts and crafts, and participate in circle/story time.
Enrichment – Age 3-4 years (drop-off)
Children build confidence and discover new talents while engaging in play based centres and recreational specialties.
Shabbat – Age 18 months – 2.5 years (with parent/caregiver)
You and your child will enjoy singing songs, making a craft, and learning about special Shabbat traditions.
Although all their programs are currently full, you can get lucky if you sign up for the 2017 sessions now. Go to SMARTIEPANTS Facebook Page to learn more about upcoming sessions.
